― Bessel A. van der Kolk,

Welcome! My name is Stephanie Campuzano. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (MC61092096) and a Substance Use Professional Trainee ( CO60901763). I grew up in Southern California and moved to the PNW to pursue my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. Over the past five years, I have worked with a wide range of individuals struggling to manage mild to severe mental health symptoms such as anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidality, dissociations, and issues related to family and relationships. I have also worked with individuals struggling with addictions and recovery, along with their loved ones. Through my work over the years, I have recognized the importance of compassion, support, and advocacy towards anyone, and I emphasize ANYONE, who is struggling to navigate life during their most vulnerable states.
Areas of Focus: Trauma related symptoms, PTSD, multicultural issues and racial identity, substance use addictions/recovery, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, women's issues, and self esteem.
I work with adults and adolescents ages 14+.
Some of the treatments I use in therapy are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Common Elements Treatment Approach (CETA), Trauma Informed Focus, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness Based Therapy

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in an insurance plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage, a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges, both orally and in writing or upon request or at the time of scheduling health care services.

I believe everyone has the potential to feel in control of their lives and my purpose is to help you find that potential. As your therapist, I commit to providing you with a collaborative, empowering, and unique style of therapy to fit your presenting needs and concerns. This style involves me helping you learn about yourself in ways we were never taught in schools, through society, and sometimes within our own homes.
As a first gen Latina born from immigrants, I invite discussions of inclusivity, oppression, and social justice because I, too, understand what it means to feel different and not included. I also recognize the stigmas associated with mental health around different cultures and perspectives and want to support you in finding healing that works specifically for you. My space is meant to help you feel safe, heard, and in some ways, a student of yourself. I will help you increase emotional awareness and find meaning to your thoughts and feelings so you can feel more confident with your life's journey. You won't have to journey through the healing alone.
You deserve this space.
Please feel free to message me for free 10-15 minute consultation to see if we would be a good fit!
I look forward to meeting you.
Lastly, give yourself some praise for inviting the search towards healing.
